I can't believe this has been going for nearly a year! I feel rather emotional Blush

I'll pop the list up in a second for any newcomers.

Here's to a fantastic December, and bolstered bank balances for January!

@lynsey91 yes same. Have to keep coming out of it and then back in. It's really annoying.

nameymcnamechangeagain · 10/12/2019 19:43

Does anyone know of any better ways to sell things other than Facebook and eBay?! I can’t seem to give the bloody stuff away and my partner has just left with no reason and I don’t know what else I can possibly do to bring in some money quickly for my kids!!! Any suggestions gratefully received!

lilmishap · 10/12/2019 20:08

Gumtree

Madre77 · 10/12/2019 20:23

Can someone reassure me that they have been paid by neevo as I'm not going to keep ploughing away for no reward.

Thanks

SNISR · 10/12/2019 20:43

@nameymcnamechangeagain Shpock is where is sell. I don't like selling on eBay due to the high fees and gumtree requires phone number or email. I find shpock the best app to sell on and there are loads of users too. Good luck!

@Madre77 I feel the same. I only started on neevo last week but scared I won't get paid lol.

dreamyflower · 10/12/2019 20:47

@Madre77 I have been paid by Neevo a few times. They don't tell you when, you just get an email from PayPal.

BlackCatFan · 10/12/2019 20:48

I've just had an email back from Neevo saying that the rest of the voice recording tasks will be paid today (?) and the phone call tasks will be paid tomorrow.... so we'll see. Can't see a payment coming through tonight, but..

Frenchdoors1 · 10/12/2019 20:50

I've had several payments from Neevo, and yes, you'll just get an email.

Madre77 · 10/12/2019 20:58

Thank you all for your neevo reassurances. I'll carry on with the task in hand😊😊

3dogsnorth · 10/12/2019 21:30

Re Neevo. I've done heaps of tasks but never been paid. Maybe I'll get a surprise tomorrow

QueenOfCatan · 10/12/2019 21:39

How long does appen take to come through and are there tests like lionbridge? I just failed the bloody lionbridge ones after 10 or so hours reading guidelines, watching their tutorials and taking the tests and I was really hoping to get it as I need some income. I applied to crisp too a few weeks back but not expecting to hear anything for a while after reading these threads! I applied to cloudworkers twice but have yet to hear back, so they call your phone or Skype?

3dogsnorth · 10/12/2019 22:03

Anyone on Appen Sitka ad or web? Is there any work on it. Not going to do the tests if the work has dried up. On Coleman and nothing in my queue at all

lilmishap · 10/12/2019 23:25

There IS work on Sitweb but others are saying they can't see it...It wasn't showing up for me until about 2pm but I'm looking at 6000ish tasks right now

AdaShelby · 11/12/2019 08:47

Does anyone have the correct Appen sign up link please?

QueenOfCatan · 11/12/2019 09:19

With appen do you just apply to qualify for as much as you can or stick to a couple and if you fail apply for another?

Catatemyhomework · 11/12/2019 09:20

posterAdaShelby, you can use my referral link if you like. It's here.

DontCallMeDarling · 11/12/2019 10:07

@QueenOfCatan generally apply for everything, you can get loads or one or nothing! You just don't know! Most require taking a test. I have some active projects but I also have 20 in active process! Good luck

QueenOfCatan · 11/12/2019 10:10

@dontcallmedarling thanks! Trying to get sign ups done whilst the kids are distracted by Ben and Holly Grin Does it take a while for things to come through? I need to earn £4000 in self employment by the end of the tax year as we're planning to move next year and I need my tax returns to look good. So I'm trying to do anything and everything.

StudentHelp · 11/12/2019 11:08

@Catatemyhomework
I’d recommend being an agent, I’m still working as one as and when I can. (Only done a few hours so far but still earned over £60). It’s really quite flexible which is great for me with uni work and the instructions are easy to follow.

Catatemyhomework · 11/12/2019 11:23

Thanks @StudentHelp, that sounds really positive. They sent me an email yesterday with the guidelines. There was no link to sign up, I just had to message them to say if I was interested in doing it. The guidelines look quite scary. Do you get adequate time to read the scenario? Also, I would be responsible for the recording of the conversation. Is it the customer or the agent that does the noisy background? Sorry, so many questions, I'm probably over thinking this!

Bemystarlord · 11/12/2019 11:32

Anyone doing the neevo calls this morning, some lovely lady agents online if they are you :)

rhij86 · 11/12/2019 11:37

not doing the calls but ploughing through some more of the validation tasks and trying to get some appen hours in as well :)

StudentHelp · 11/12/2019 11:39

@Catatemyhomework
I’m not sure about the noisy environment as I’m doing the quiet. You get to read the scenario and decide when to call but I have missed a few when preparing any bits I need to improvise so hopefully I’m not penalised for that.

You would be responsible for the recording, yes, but it’s just a click of a button so really easy.

Bemystarlord · 11/12/2019 11:40

@rhij86 going to go onto the validation ones too. Hoping to try and get a decent amount of them done if i can 🤞

rhij86 · 11/12/2019 11:44

@bemystarlord same here, I only managed 500 of the last one as I was trying to do 3 things at once and it was doing my head in but I'm 'working' at the mo and work have literally nothing for me to do... and my appen queue today is really easy so nothing stopping me ploughing through. Already done 130 since 11am so doing better than the last lot Grin
