Selling fine jewellery

Does anyone know how I would go about this?

Have been gifted some by an elderly family member and would rather invest the money.

How do I ensure I sell it for what it's worth? Auction or jeweller?

You could put in an auction if it’s valuable enough.

It depends on the value really, but be warned used jewellery usually only commands a fraction of the original price, so unless it’s something really special, chances are it won’t be worth as much as you think
