Barclaycard refund

Hi all, I got a letter from Barclaycard last week saying that they had been reviewing their procedures etc etc and would be giving me a refund of £560. I am pretty sure I am not the only one to have received this letter. If you have, how long did you wait for the refund after you sent the reply slip back?

Are you sure it is genuine? Are they asking for your bank details?

Yes, I spoke with them on the phone.

Did you send them your account details?

Ignore that - just seen that you've spoken to them already.

Did you phone a number on the letter or did you independently verify the Barclays telephone number? What does the refund relate to?

Yes I saw that. As long as you are sure your letter is from them and its legitimate then could you not ask them how long it will take

I phoned them through the Mobile app.
Anyway, I was only wondering how long people waited for the refund...

I did ask. 30 days. What I wanted to know was other people's experience, whether they actually had to wait 30 days or whether they got the refund sooner than that.

If you've been told 30 days then give it that long.

My hopes went up there slightly but I never fell behind in payments or went over limit. So SFA for me
