And said it will take up to 12 weeks to pay us back!
We booked it beginning of October. They took the money but then two days later sent an email to say the flights were cancelled. I phoned them and got through to a call centre who wouldn’t or couldn’t say why it was cancelled. They refunded us the hotel cost within 2 days but said because the airline had took it, it could take up to 12 weeks to get money back.
It’s a substantial amount. I’ve rung a few times but they are sticking with 12 weeks. It doesn’t seem right. Nothing was our fault and we are being punished.
Any advice? I’m at a lose at what to do now.
