@seizethecuttlefish definitely a glitch. I found the project chat and lots of people saying the same thing.

seizethecuttlefish · 12/11/2019 21:20

I couldn't find the project chat at all. Need to have another look. Thanks

SNISR · 12/11/2019 22:13

Anyone received the sitka ad test on appen? It's a 30 question test and I'm a bit nervous to do it. I need a buddy 😭

Buster27 · 12/11/2019 22:36

@SNISR I failed it, but admittedly didn't read the guidelines in advance and just searched them during, which caused a couple of mistakes that I noticed during the test. So maybe read the guidelines first :)

Madre77 · 12/11/2019 23:05

@Fizbo how long before you got invited onto the other platform on Cloudworkers? I'm in week 2 am pretty slow as I am constantly cleaning the mess of previous agents. I would love to add to my current flow of assignments. Ta

Fizbo · 12/11/2019 23:22

@Madre77 It was within the second month maybe week 5 or so, they said it was because my messages are often over 70 characters but I think its a generic message they send to everyone.
Yes agree about clearing up other agents mess! It does get easier though.

SNISR · 12/11/2019 23:31

Awww I'm sorry @Buster27 hopefully better opportunities will come your way.
Thank you for the advice

Madre77 · 13/11/2019 04:58

@Fizbo thanks so much.

IsolaPribby · 13/11/2019 06:47

I think I have been accepted on to Appen, I have had a plethora of emails and information, including one from Payoneer. Not sure if I have been accepted on to a project yet! It's a steep learning curve! And the equipment requirements! No extensions on Chrome etc!

3dogsnorth · 13/11/2019 06:55

@SNISR I've been invited for the Sitka ads test. Not sure though. Guidelines look ok but I thought that about imbler and elkhorn too and failed! Been reading cottonwood guidelines and will try test later. If I pass that I'll not do Sitka

anxiouswaiting · 13/11/2019 07:48

I've been invited to the exams for both the Sitka projects, not sure if I will do them yet. I seem to be spending all my time readi g guidelines and failing tests at the moment Confused

Bemystarlord · 13/11/2019 08:13

Anyone else applied for Salway? When i fill in the details it asks for the country you spent the longest up to age 15 but only lets you put a number as an answer. Are you having the same problem? Had a few more of the 20 hours ones pop up over night, they all seem to have the same description just different names!

Buster27 · 13/11/2019 08:21

@SNISR it turns out I couldn't do it at the same time as another project I have anyway, so doesn't matter for me too much (well until my current project runs out!).

I've got the queue for another 20 hour project now (so two that can be worked the same time). Not sure I have the time for 2 but will see how it goes.

toastytea · 13/11/2019 08:26

@seizethecuttlefish @Buster27 I've just checked my user metrics and it's 45 mins less than what I've invoiced for. I've put my times in the invoice as I go along but that's my only record. Arghghgghgh. I do remember it crashing at some point but not sure what day!!

seizethecuttlefish · 13/11/2019 08:30

@anxiouswaiting don't worry. Same happened to me. I monumentally failed a Lionbridge one that had a weeks worth of study!

rhij86 · 13/11/2019 08:37

@bemystarlord I had the same issue... I just put 1 and hoping for the best 🤷‍♀️😂 as it asks for basically the same info further down

alwayscauseastir · 13/11/2019 08:37

I've received my Cottonwood exam through Appen this morning. Anyone passed it?

SNISR · 13/11/2019 09:00

@Buster27 just done the text. I read the guidelines and went through them during the test as well, but still failed. The guidelines are straight forward, but The questions are very tricky and you start double triple doubting yourself.

I'm on inari c, which has been bumped up to is 15 hours a week now and also working about 14 hours a week on palfish so I shouldn't be too bothered, but I'm a sore looser 😅

DontCallMeDarling · 13/11/2019 09:04

Who knew it would be like buses, nothing than loads all come at once!! Not ideal though as yep you can only really go on one at a time! Grin

Bemystarlord · 13/11/2019 09:25

@rhij86 i put 1 as well 😂 hopefully it wont matter! I like the speaking ones, they are boring but you don't have to think too much and can just power through them.

anxiouswaiting · 13/11/2019 09:26

@alwayscauseastir I passed it and am starting on it today, I failed all the others though so it may be a fluke Grin

3dogsnorth · 13/11/2019 10:40

Failed cottonwood too. I'm getting good at failing these tests!

GailLondon · 13/11/2019 11:08

Anyone on INARI C and not getting any posts loading up to rate today?

And how are you getting on with the increased workload? Its been a bit of a jump but I'm getting into the swing of it now!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 13/11/2019 11:18

@IsolaPribby don't worry about browser extentions. I currently have 10 (yes really!) and they've never caused a problem.
