I've not had anything from niffle Sad even though I was supposedly selected/qualified. Gods sake. I'm getting so fed up with appen. It's all false fucking hope.

Huge congratulations to you @justtheonethen SmileSmile

TheLolaMontez · 06/11/2019 13:01

Clickworker not working for me either

Buster27 · 06/11/2019 13:03

Congrats @justtheonethen - lovely news!

I received the niffle email but I'm at work so can't have a look until this evening ;(

Niyamamama · 06/11/2019 13:05

Sorry if I missed a reply but can anyone help me with respondent? I completed a project but it doesn't say completed or anything so not sure if I've done it right. It was the sky bet one.

AliciaWhiskers · 06/11/2019 13:05

@justtheonethen huge congratulations :) Lovely news!

Fizbo · 06/11/2019 13:05

I'm on Niffle now but had to go onto my projects and click on the blue writing where it says something about guidelines then it took me to a page that looks like the other appen site if that helps anyone

Itsallsuchamess · 06/11/2019 13:21

Clickworker didn't work for me yesterday but today it seems OK so far. I'm on a laptop using Chrome if that makes any difference?

@justtheonethen&rhj6 congratulations to you both Smile

rhij86 · 06/11/2019 13:21

@Niyamamama hi, sorry I meant to reply to your message and totally forgot! I did that one too. For some reason I thought I'd had an email saying payment was being processed but now can't find that so must have imagined it. I'm going to send a message now - will let you know if I get a response

curragh1 · 06/11/2019 13:34

It says on the clickworker forum, that they're having server issues at the moment.

Did my first bit of work for Appen this morning, got on the Niflheim project. Still waiting to hear from crisp, got 19 in the test 3 weeks ago. I've got my chat from home Skype call tonight, fingers crossed it's all systems go then Smile

rhij86 · 06/11/2019 13:42

@curragh1 ooh fingers crossed!
Gutted I haven't had anything for Niffleheim through, wonder why they didn't want me?!

@Niyamamama I just had this response:

Thanks for your message and thanks again for attending our Sky Bet study.

The study has now closed and we are currently in the process of reviewing all of the responses we've received over the past days. In the next few days, assuming all is well with the answers, I will reconcile the status of all participants, so they will be recorded as having successfully completed the study and put on the reward payment list subsequently. Payment with Respondent IO typically takes between 1 and 2 weeks.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch on chat.

curragh1 · 06/11/2019 13:50

Ohh I'm on clickworker on my laptop and they have Pinterest jobs on there again now

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 06/11/2019 13:54

ha, @curragh1 i just logged on to say the same thing re pinterest!

Bemystarlord · 06/11/2019 13:57

I’ve not had any email about Nifflewotsit :( its in my projects list but still has the red writing saying work is not yet available. Anyone who has not had an email managed to get on?

Fizbo · 06/11/2019 14:06

@Bemystarlord I didn't get an email but got on and did it all. I also had the red writing saying it hasn't started but I clicked where it says task instructions and it opened in another window

TheLolaMontez · 06/11/2019 14:29

Ooh I'm on Niffle - I take it all back Grin

Countrygirl94 · 06/11/2019 14:37

@Fizbo I never got an email either but followed where you said and I'm on!

Just need little bab to go down for his nap to do it. This is my first project, I'm worried I get it wrong!

rhij86 · 06/11/2019 14:41

I'm feeling very left out with all this niffle-wiffle-whatsit work! Wink not sure what I've done to upset appen but they obv don't want me for this one!

anxiouswaiting · 06/11/2019 14:45

I don't seem to have made it to Niffle either. I can read the guidelines but there is no link for me to access the work.

Applied for all the new projects this morning, 20 hours is a lot but it sounds like it isn't very reliable like the other projects so hopefully could fit it in. Although I am now on 18 projects in progress so no holding my breath Grin

TheLolaMontez · 06/11/2019 15:08

Just finished Niffle. Was easy enough. I've applied for all the new tasks too, one has to come through eventually, right? Blush

TheLolaMontez · 06/11/2019 15:10

Did you try pressing the "work this" button on Niffle @anxiouswaiting ?

rhij86 · 06/11/2019 15:17

@TheLolaMontez I tried that, the tasks tab just says:

We are selecting participants based on demographic requirements sent to us by the client.

Only selected users will be granted access to the task and will receive an assignment message containing the task link.

I have done the same with all the new tasks - if we apply for enough something should stick! I've got Uolo but want to earn as much as I can pre-maternity leave!

toastytea · 06/11/2019 15:17

What are people's experience with respondent?

I have done the test for user testing. How long to wait for result?

rhij86 · 06/11/2019 15:22

@toastytea respondent are pretty good if you get something. I've been on there almost 2 months now, and apply for things most days.

Completed 3 tasks ($40, $10 and $10) - would have been four - the other was for $120 but they cancelled due to illness and I couldn't make the new time :( been paid for the first two that I've done within a week of completing, third is under review.

Had another task accepted which I'll be doing this eve for $20.

TheLolaMontez · 06/11/2019 15:25

Ah that's a bummer. I clicked this morning and there was the screen you described, the. I tried again this afternoon and it took me to a new appen page with the task on ready to go. Never received an eMail to say it was ready for work though.

Just sitting waiting for clickworker. Their mouse is obviously on a go slow today

TheLolaMontez · 06/11/2019 15:26

I've had positive experimence with respondent too. Only done one phone interview though
