Premium Bonds

I had about £8000 in Premium bonds for years and regularly won, usually £25, four or five times every year.
Last year I cashed them in then bought more, £10000 in January and £10000 in April. I have never once won anything with these.
I know there are fewer prizes now but has anyone else won nothing at all this year? I think the Chancellor has run off with the lot.

I've had £15 for 35 years and won nothing!!!!!!

@Hovverry [shocked] with £20,000 in since April and not one prize? You must be incredibly unlucky. Are you going to stick with it or invest elsewhere?

I've had £10,000 since August and not won anything either.... but waiting to see what happens in the next couple of draws.

There's lots of misunderstanding about premium bonds and statistics in general. Moneysavingexpert has written a good article explaining how you should look at them as an investment.

I have about £20k in premium bonds, and have won about £1500 since opening my account two years ago including one £1000 win. Very lucky.

Come join us on the main PB thread! I have maximum holdings and in the last 3 months have won £75, £50, and £100.
