Okay so if you've seen previous posts iv had kids with an utter twat....
Sorry for my long post btw
I kept my house behind his back knowing we wouldn't work out basically- bad as it sounds I just wanted to say I tried one last time because I'm thick.
I'm now on a safe 2 speak course and trying to get myself back on track. I can only move back home on the last day of the month. This is due to having no gas or electric or money for food etc as he's taken all my money. I have 40p in the bank and my mum an dad isn't well so she is currently on the sick at work and gets less then what he takes off me an she needs pay her mortgage so can't even borrow from her.
But the issue is he gave my sofa to his son when he moved out, I didn't want to say no because at the time he assumed the house was eventually going to go back to the landlord but since he makes sure he takes all my money so I can't even save, he even tried to take my Christmas savings off me but luckily my mum has them and said no it's for the kids but now I have no money to get a new one and he won't give me any to help me lol even now I have to beg him to buy me more milk an I get shit for that. So any ideas or where I can get a cheap sofa or anything. I've tried on finance but I have shit credit with him taking my money an I wasn't able to pay my catalogue or phone bill... this resulted in him snapping up my iPhone 7 I saved to buy an getting my contract onto his account now he can see my calls etc so worked out well in his control didn't it! BUT Iv thought ahead, I'm going to take the phone he's paying for obviosuly as he broke mine and iv ordered a new SIM card and will delete my tracking app when I leave 😆
But I don't know what to do in regards to a sofa, iv been accepted for a loan but can't find a guarantor to get w cheap one and everyone I know has tried for me and just can't get the finance for one. Looked online at second hand but non fit in my living room as it's small an most people have 2&3 but I need a 2 and a chair max. Ino it may not seem like I need one an can manage without but I'm due to give birth in December an I'm breastfeeding so fitting on the floor isn't great in either situation
Iv asked for an advance of universal credit and they won't give me one as when I left work this time last year I took the advance then (I lived off child benefit for 2 months) didn't know I was entitled to anything. So had no choice other then to take it ! So I'm not entitle to another until that is paid back end of November urgh! Really no options x

There's always people giving away old sofas or chairs on Facebook and gumtree, you don't need anything attractive or matching for now so just get anything that will fit (just a couple of chairs would do) and save to get better ones further down the line?

Have you looked on Freecycle or Freegle? You can post wanted posts too so you may have a chance.

British Heart Foundation shop?

Also apply for an emergency payment from the council. Proof of pregnancy and your crime number will help.

This is the relevant Liverpool page;

liverpool.gov.uk/benefits/help-in-a-crisis/liverpool-citizens-support-scheme/

And this is the Norfolk one (just to give you an idea what you’re looking for);

www.norfolk.gov.uk/care-support-and-health/support-for-living-independently/money-and-benefits/norfolk-assistance-scheme

Looks like they’d both help with a sofa too, so hopefully your council’s local scheme is similar.

You are focusing everything on the sofa. In the great scheme of things IT DOESN'T MATTER.

You can sit on your bed, on garden furniture, borrow something. You don't need a sofa immediately.
