Maternity allowance

Hi there
I have applied for paperwork and sent off all my payslips etc received a letter back saying my details and info had been sent to the maternity allowance

I have not heard anything since then is there an email or contact number I can check this on?

The backlog for them processing is currently 8-10 weeks!!!

I had a text confirming they had received my application and not to contact them for 8 weeks.
They are currently telling people 10.

I've been waiting 7 weeks atm

So that does that mean being paid 8 weeks after originally applying?

Yep! You won't get paid until it's processed. So
Currently apparently 10 weeks after you applied!

Although they will back date payments if it's processed after you have gone on maternity leave
