I was let go from my job last month and was told I would receive one weeks pay on this month's payday. This month's payday was today and I've checked my balance a few times today and nothing's come in. I rang my bank to ask if anything was pending and they said as it was BACS FPI payment it could come any time up to 23:59 tonight ?
When I've been paid from this job before the payments often came through at random times, sometimes 9am, sometimes 11am but never this late.
I was on fairly bad terms with management when I was let go, is it possible that they could of changed their minds about paying me? Is this possible when they put in writing that they would pay me?
The payroll is managed by an external company, if I rang them on Monday is it possible that they could have a look for me?
