Maternity allowance advice

So i'm currently applying for maternity allowance as I cant get SMP as ive not worked for my current employer for long enough.

I have a few questions for anyone whos applied in the past.

  1. In my test period ive had two different jobs, my old job which i left at the end of last year and my current job which i got june this year. For the 13 weeks wage slips im planning to send of 5 weeks from my old job and 8 weeks from my current job. For my 8 weeks with my current job i got about 60 pound a week, for the 5 weeks with my old job I got over 200 pound a week. Just wondering if anyone sent off something similar and if this is okay to do as i dont have 13 weeks worth of wage slips from my current job?
  1. Did you put a separate piece of paper with name, address and NI number on to get your wage slips back?
  1. Did you get recorded delivery?
  1. How long did it actaully take for you to hear back / get first payment?

You are advised to send the wage slips with the highest amounts on, they don't have to be from the same job. I would send signed for delivery, yes.
