Example wording for freezing interest

Does anyone have any examples of a letter I can use to freeze the interest in my credit cards? The only examples I've found assume I've already spoken to the credit card companies, and I'm not sure I can face talking to them.

Can’t help with the freezing wording I’m afraid but just remember if/when you do talk to them, they are trained to help you. It’s just a person with a job at the other end of the phone, it’s not “their” money you are talking about. They are trained to give you all the help they can, if you can find it on yourself please do try to call them. Good luck OP.
