Get keys to a new place in a couple of weeks.
The rent is higher.
I know I have to log on to report changes and then make an appointment at job centre with new tenancy agreement and rent price.

My claim runs 3rd to 2nd each month.. Payment on 9th

We either get keys 23rd or 30th.ot sure yet.
If its 23rd is it likely the change will be reflected in October's payment.

How does it all work

All changes are taken to the start of the assessment period, so just make sure to lodge it ASAP so that you 'catch' the end of the assessment period.

Hope it goes smoothly for you!

Thanks so. If I got keys in 23rd and logged that day I may just scrape it. Fingers crossed

You may not get the higher rent it depends on the local housing allowance for your area.

Yeah we don't get it all. New rent is 219.. Allowance is. 191.
I just wondwred how long the change took mainly.
