ESA and PIP

Hi does anyone know if ESA are now using PIP in terms of reassessment info?

I just was awarded PIP again for 5 years (thankfully this time have recognised long term problems) and ESA is due for reassessment next year.

What I wondered was if they might use the PIP info for ESA as it is about the same stuff / category really. I don't get given points for ESA as in the support group so it is just a category given.

Even though last tome for ESA in the report the assessor said little chance of change they have chosen to reassess it in 3 years (next year will be next time)

They did use the ESA report for PIP last time.

Fed up of all the different assessments and how they don't seem very consistent in sharing the info.

What’s is useful to do is when you get your ESA form is to refer to your PIP assessment as many things will crossover
In fact ring up PIP and ask for a copy of your most recent medical report which you can then use as current evidence for ESA yourself

Then when you get awarded your ESA ask for the medical report and keep that also as evidence for when you have your next PIP
They say 5 years awarded but they can call you in at any time they feel like it and they often call you in the last 3-9 months before the award ends
The more official evidence you have to show them the easier it will be for you
