I am currently on maternity allowance and due to return to work 9th sept. This is before my 39 weeks end on 19th October.
I am taking annual leave and actually going into work on 30th September.
I rang dwp and they advised me to call back when I've done 8 KIT days as I still may be entitled?
She wasn't very clear- but am I right in thinking she just means the first 8 days of my annual leave when I'm 'officially' returning to work?
So will I still get paid mat allowance for those 2 weeks even tho I'm also getting my salary?
