RBS joint account

Does anyone know how much money I can sign over from a joint bank account to my own personal account? H has agreed to give me 5k tomorrow and seems to think he wont need to be there to authorise? Thanks

Unless it is set up so that both signatories are required you shouldn’t have any trouble.

I could completely empty our joint account into my single name savings account at any point. It only needed my authorisation to transfer just under £100k (proceeds of an endowment policy) to a savings account in my sole name and then later some of it to pay off the mortgage.

If your own account is also RBS I doubt there would be any issues.
