Universal credit.... the weekend

Hi all

I receive Universal credit and was due to get my statement today (August 17th) it has always gone in without fail so I can see the breakdown....

Nothing today.... i realise it's a Saturday but I thought that meant it should have been there yesterday. I know it's not the end of the world (it's due to be paid next sat so I hope it will be there Friday due to BH) but they have messed around with my rent (not paying) and I wanted a heads up.

Will it be there Monday? Am I worried over nothing?

Anyone? Pretty please?

Look online, it gives the next 8 payments with dates.

Mygaff mine doesn't. It only shows the next payment info on a certain date the month before.

I'm almost certain your paid the working day before if the payment date falls on a non-working day so you should be paid on Friday. Not sure about when the statement should appear, curious to know my self..

If it was just the statement you were expecting today then they do not update at weekends so it will be Monday. if you were expecting payment today then it would have gone in on Friday so I would be worried.

Maybe I am.using a different website? I go on Gov.U.k & it shows my future payments..

That doesn't look like universal credit MyGaff that looks like something entirely different.

Universal credit is all run on www.universalcredit.com or similar.

Op I get my statement in an 8th and payment on 15th I'd guess the statement will drop.monday and your payment should drop Friday.

I just checked, the link I posted is some American site of some kind.

I get mine the week before without fail. Like I said I wouldn't be overly concerned if the housing association I rent from insist on sending me eviction notices as they are always late paying my rent....

I did used to get my tax/ working tax payments like that- a few weeks in advance. The dates etc. Now I get paid on one date and get the statement a week before

Of you don't receive your statement on by Monday just give them a call and ask why. We had this issue last month and it seemed they had some bits on their end which needed signing off on before the statement would be produced, even though our feed was live with out wages. They did their bits and by the end of the phone call the statement had come through.

Yeah thats definitely not it mygaff, UC is paid monthly only and the date is a hyperlink you can click to show a breakdown of your amounts. Call them if you don't get it on Monday, they take ages to reply on the journal unless it's to their benefit!

Did your statement become available on the Monday ? I’m having the same problem today.

Yes all good was panicking over nothing. They had forgotten my rent that was supposed to be paid direct though!

So your statement was available on the Monday morning ? Or did you have to ring before they uploaded your statement. Glad you got it sorted.
