How will PPI affect my ESA?

I’m currently on ESA and I have been struggling financially. I, therefore, decided to get some advice about a £4000 debt I have with RBS. Previously RBS told me that I had no PPI, but I asked for some information in order to get debt advice and the paperwork RBS sent me reveals that I do have some PPI after all. I’m now worried about how a payment of PPI could affect my ESA. My RBS debt is 20 years old, so the PPI could be a fair amount. I also have credit card debt of £3900, a £1900 overdraft and I’m paying back an ESA overpayment of around £900.
