Hi. Im new to mums net so please be nice 😊
Recently put a joint claim in for universal credit and waiting to find out what we may receive but im
eager to get an idea of whether we may get anything. Partner earns £1300-£1600 a month and i get £215 per fortnight maternity pay. Got 2 children 1 is 8yr old 1 is just 7 weeks. No child care and rent is £309 per month. Tried the calculaters but getting different amounts on them all. Thank you in advance.

Is it maternity allowance that you get or smp? I would also need to know if one of you is over 25 to do a rough calculation.

if wages are variable the amount of Uc you get will go up and down according to what your partner earns.

Both over 25 and im on smp. Partners wages go up and down depending on 4 or 5 week month.
