I'm/we're selling our house, moving on from each other and I've got a mortgage in my own name. Does that make me a first time buyer??

Just trying to work out how much it's all going to cost and eat into my equity.

TIA

No, you will not be a first time buyer.

No because you already have a house to sell so how can you be a first time buyer .

Of course, that makes perfect sense! Sorry, I'm being terribly thick! I haven't bought or sold a property for 30 years and coupled with the obvious distress of splitting a home and family, I have brain freeze! Blush
