Universal credit

Hi just wanted some advice
Me and my partner have just filled out a claim for universal credit. Joint claim. But upon reflection we realised we dont need to apply for it anymore
The last stage of the form was for us to book interviews
Will the claim just be cancelled if we dont book it. Or do we need to ring to cancel the form

Thanks

It will be cancelled if you don't have the appointment within a certain number of days.

Why do you not need it any more?

Its likely applying, even if you don't do the interview stage, will end your existing benefits if you get anything like Tax credits.
