Spoke to my bank earlier as my paper statement arrived with the envelope half open (but not ripped) and the pages of my bank statement in the wrong order. The bank have said that there can be no reason at their end as to why the pages would be printed out of order and it does look as though it has been tampered with.
Calling upon your collective wisdom, what kind of info would someone with bad intentions be looking for from my statement? Apart from unusual account activity is there anything else I need look out for? Is there perhaps another innocent explanation I am missing apart from maybe it got delivered to a neighbour by mistake who uses the same bank, thought it was their statement and then popped it back in envelope when they realised not?
