If a job was £15k pro rata how would you dwindle that down and work out how much you would be on working 20 hours a week?

Depends what the original working hours where -- if it was 40, then 20 would be 7.5K.

Work out your gross hourly rate

(15k/52/number of hours)

then multply your hourly rate x number of hours you will be working x 52

If you want to know what your net pay will be, there are online calculators e.g. on i-resign.
