Washing machine!!

Hi all
My husband and i have separated and divorcing shortly. During our marriage i bought anything and everything in the house. Furniture, cookware, literally everything,
He bought a new washing machine last June and is now asking me to pay him £100 for it. Can he sue me for this? do i have to pay?
We have 2 children that live with me

If he is being so petty as arguing over a washing machine, it may be a good idea to invest in some legal advice.

OP if he were to sue you he would have to pay a court fee of nearly that amount! It wouldn’t be worth it.

I also cannot see the legal basis for him suing you for that.

I would however see a solicitor if you think he will be difficult about money in respect of the divorce generally.
