If anyone out there is receiving this can you remember how soon after retirement date you received the actual lump sum and pension?

I've officially retired on July 1st but they can't tell me on what date each month I will receive my pension or lump sum, but that it will be 'by the end of the month'

Confused I know I'm impatient.

Really? I've had the lump sum through, but the pension is still to be forthcoming.

Why did the people have to wait months?

I receive mine on the date I officially retired, the 9th of each month. I got the first payment on the following 9th.
