Swapping to another 0% deal before current one expires?

Can I do this?

My current card with a balance is on a 0% deal until October. I've just got a letter in with my statement for my other credit card (paid off in full each month) offering 12 months 0% on balance transfers but I have to apply it by mid August.

This would be ideal because I'm making really good progress on the other one & at the current amount I'm paying each month I would have or cleared by this time next year but obviously my interest rate will go up come October.

Can I do the balance transfer now or am I tied in in anyway until the 0% period ends?

Yeah . Never pay interest on credit cards, it's ridiculous that people don't have the nouse to switch to 0%

Switch it straight away. You need to do it before the old period ends and it can sometimes take up to 2 weeks.
