6 months in and still going strong! It's the July earn £10 a day thread!

Let's try not to fill this one up too quickly Grin

I think everyone had an absolutely smashing month in June, with lots of luck thrown in at the end of it for good measure. I think we're all proving it's possible you can earn £10 a day from the comfort of your own sofa.

I'll pop together an updated list of earning methods later, I haven't had coffee yet Grin

All new joiners are welcome Smile

Thanks alot this is my first baby so its new to me but this site is a great help so glad I found it 😁

ChubRubTub · 26/07/2019 12:14

I'm looking for some Appen advice.

I passed the test for one project, but want to take the test for another. I cant seem to navigate to any pages as I've got a message about them checking my documents.

Is it normal not to be able to see any other part of my account? How long does it take for them to finalise registration?

AliciaWhiskers · 26/07/2019 12:58

Loving this thread, so placemarking because I keep losing it! I'm going to start properly in September - too much going on in August for me to be able to focus on this, but can't wait to get started!

Will be doing a very focused declutter too, so a lot of my September income will be from that, I think.

AllChangeAllChange · 26/07/2019 13:24

Question about cloudworkers - for those who have partners, do they know you are doing that work? Do they mind?

nicannie · 26/07/2019 14:47

I really want to sign up for a few of the mentioned ways you guys all earn extra cash. I have been able to sign up for Proflific, but I wanted to sing up for a few others that you find are good earners. My maternity pay is so bad, only statutory mat pay after 6 weeks at 90%. I'm a bit worried about it! I will get by, but only just on my wages. Luckily OH has a great job which will help. Can anyone share or tell me where to find links to sign up to these sites?

Otterses · 26/07/2019 15:35

@nicannie

If you skim the thread, @reddA posted an absolutely fantastic list with links Smile

@AllChangeAllChange I believe @TheLolaMontez has her husband sitting next to her while she does it! I really wouldn't encourage keeping it a secret from your husband if you're considering it.

@ChubRubTub In my experience it's not normal! Can you see the 'all projects' tab?

I'm glad you all think a charity is a good idea. I'm terrified/confused/excited all at the same time! I think my first port of call has to be this proposal and some research Grin maybe I'll get to use one of these amazing survey sites!

Or ... I steal all the benevolent funds latest statistics and throw them back at them Grin

Grr. I accidentally hid this thread and then couldn't find it

whatthewhatthewhat · 26/07/2019 16:29

Someone help me! It's not on the quick links (threads I'm on or threads I'm watching?). What did I doooooooo????

whatthewhatthewhat · 26/07/2019 19:26

@Otterses so, I don't know if you've considered this, but I've been thinking about your posts... have you considered setting up a recruitment agency instead of a charity? Then you could actually acquire work and help people get paid employment?! And you could have select mumsnetters (ahem!) open regional branches!

ChubRubTub · 26/07/2019 21:41

Otterses: I can see where it says 'all projects', and that I've got three active processes. When I click on them, it does nothing and just shows a message about them being in the process of finalising my application. I've tried on different devices and get the same.

Hmmm. Maybe whatthewhat is right about setting up a business rather than a charity. Not sure how much upfront cash that would need though.

anxiouswaiting · 26/07/2019 22:06

@Otterses nothing really comes up for me on RedWigWam, it either isn't close enough or is only weekdays which I can't do as have my 10 month old with me. I get loads about buying stuff online and reviewing it but it isn't worth doing because you need a minimum online order and I don't shop online.

I get a few from Intellizoom, last month I had loads, this month far fewer and I am getting screened out a lot. nice thing is the payments from past ones are starting to come through though.

Whatusersdo doesn't seem to be recruiting, I can't work out how to sign up. You have reminded me I still need to do some bits to finish my sign up with UTest!

Done a bit more Crisp today, £7 for about 1.5 hours, there has just been a surge. Better than nothing, hope I get faster! It's a bit of a pain that my baby gets up a lot in the night so getting up early is a no go for me as I am too tired, I try and do a bit during the day when he naps and then in the evening when he goes to bed.

I had some great market research groups last month too and have had none this month, I could do with some more of those, they were great earners!

seizethecuttlefish · 26/07/2019 22:14

@ChubRubTub I have three projects like that and even though I've passed everything and completed the documents they're not progressing. I might be wrong but I assumed it meant that they didn't need me, at the moment.

@Otterses brilliant idea. I had a fantastic career (as I'm sure loads of us had) before I had my kids and none of my experience is getting used, as companies can't seem to fathom working from home. Everything I did prior to finishing work could be easily done from home. The cost of childcare and the hours my partner and I need to work makes both of us working a non starter. It really gets me down that there is so much talent out there and it's wasted.

ChubRubTub · 26/07/2019 22:58

Cuttlefish: it's not that they're in progress that's the problem. I can't access anything on my account.

I can see where it says 3 active processes / all projects etc, but when I click on it, it doesn't go the relevant page. Everything seems locked down - is yours the same?

ShinyButtons · 26/07/2019 23:18

That sounds like a brilliant idea @Otterses
And @whatthewhatthewhat recruitment agency idea also sounds great.

Has anyone that that was on cloud workers been given access to the other platforms?
After not going on there for ages and hearing nothing from them, I got an email saying they have reviewed the messages I've sent and cos I'm so good they are giving me access to 2 new platforms.
Are the other platforms as bad or worse than the one you start on?
Not sure whether I should just stick with Crisping or try cloud workers again in case something goes wrong with crisp.

Bemystarlord · 27/07/2019 09:33

@ShinyButtons yes i got that email too but i’m not sure what to do, i’m wondering if the other one is an actually secting one as it says you don’t have to disclose that its not real if asked like you do with the original one 🤷🏻‍♀️

seizethecuttlefish · 27/07/2019 15:50

@ChubRubTub mine is fine. Sorry not much help. Clear cookies etc? I've avoided the switch it off and back on again approach Wink

BeeMyBaby · 27/07/2019 22:54

@TheLolaMontez yes that sounds correct for the fees, I'm trying to work out how to remove payoneer as the payment option as they take so much and I only use appen global with one off irregular payments.

TheLolaMontez · 28/07/2019 13:10

That's disappointing @BeeMyBaby Sad don't they do PayPal? I remember I only set it up because I was prompted to do so.

justtheonethen · 28/07/2019 13:13

@TheLolaMontez when I did a 5dollar task from appen I got £3.76 from payoneer. So not that much of a fee. I have payoneer linked to PayPal but I think it has to come through payoneer. Let me know if you find it doesn't!

justtheonethen · 28/07/2019 13:14

@Otterses you're an inspiration- I think a charity is a fab idea! Good luck and let me know if you want any help

TheLolaMontez · 28/07/2019 13:17

I'll see what happens @justtheonethen but looking at the payoneer page it says:

Date - description: Appen (completed) - amount 2.00 USD

I guess I'll just have to withdraw it and see what I get Confused

TheLolaMontez · 28/07/2019 13:19

Just opened the details - says $3 fee ShockAngry

6 months in and still going strong! It's the July earn £10 a day thread!
TheLolaMontez · 28/07/2019 13:20

Also just checked - the minimum withdrawal is $50! Ffs

anxiouswaiting · 28/07/2019 16:34

@TheLolaMontez Is your paypal linked to your Payoneer? I get all my Appen payments via Payoneer but it is then sent straight from payoneer to my paypal with no need for me to do anything and I certainly don't need to have $50 to be able to withdraw
