Let's try not to fill this one up too quickly Grin

I think everyone had an absolutely smashing month in June, with lots of luck thrown in at the end of it for good measure. I think we're all proving it's possible you can earn £10 a day from the comfort of your own sofa.

I'll pop together an updated list of earning methods later, I haven't had coffee yet Grin

All new joiners are welcome Smile

Morning :)

When do we submit the invoices in Appen agent anyone???

I know we get paid about the 14th and is getting paid through payoneer the best way?

WheelyCote · 22/07/2019 08:06

Oh and what we see as the invoice total is it in dollars??

My total says 427 at the moment....very pleased but is it dollars?

reddA · 22/07/2019 09:49

Dashboard has finally updated Crispers Grin

anxiouswaiting · 22/07/2019 09:53

@WheelyCote yes its dollars. You submit invoice on 1st of the month (PST time), but if you are doing anything with auto generated invoicing you need to make sure you wait for that to show before you submit. I uses Payoneer and it then goes from Payoneer into my Paypal. I found the fees and exchange rate aren't actually too bad, last month I ended up with £270 and worked out I had 'lost' about £7.

Wolfff · 22/07/2019 13:38

Has anyone got any work from or can give any feedback about ModSquad?

I need more work, just one current task with Appen (Truckee) and I don’t think you can do Lionbridge at the same time as Appen.

whatthewhatthewhat · 22/07/2019 16:50

Does everyone get the 'we thank all applicants' page in Appen, or do you just get approved straight away?

seizethecuttlefish · 22/07/2019 17:19

Didn't make the cut for Rev. Was pretty sure it was good but hey ho. Looks like, if I want an income, I'm going to have to do Cloudworkers. Which I'm not really sure about. It seems to pay next to nothing. Appen is deadly quiet for me, with 3 projects in progress but nothing happening. Global has nothing showing. Crisp, looks like you could be waiting an age and I read back on previous threads and it seems there's no guarantee of getting on. I've made the grand total of £4 this month, for a load of effort. I'm struggling to see how I'm going to make a decent amount of money. I'd set a target of 200 a month but that's not looking likely. I'm feeling a bit disheartened. I didn't expect to make anything straight away but I expected to have things lined up. Moan over.

Wolfff · 22/07/2019 17:35

seizethecuttlefish
I haven’t seen one positive review for REV so it sounds like you had a lucky escape. Appen Global gives you an option to do transcription and there is a test, have you tried that. Otherwise hang on in there, I am sure something in Connect will come up soon.

Wolfff · 22/07/2019 17:38

whatthewhatthewhat
I think the initial bit was quite quick. Filling in the form and submitting my CV. Then I got an email back saying I had to be approved for a project before I could start. Applied for anything suitable, finally got the logins for Noyo and Fletcher after about 3 days and Truckee a few days later.

whatthewhatthewhat · 22/07/2019 17:54

@Wolfff

Did u get this? Or is this a nice rejection?

We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those under consideration will be contacted. Please continue to monitor our website...

justtheonethen · 22/07/2019 18:44

@whatthewhatthewhat I get that, I have 9 projects pending and have for months, I don't think they want me 🤣

@seizethecuttlefish I got onto rev but I did it for about a day as the actual audio is so hard to do, well I found it hard anyway.

ShinyButtons · 22/07/2019 18:57

I've admitted defeat with cloud workers, I just can't make myself stay logged on for more than 10 minutes at a time. I very quickly got fed up of the ones telling me what they want in bed. And I felt so sorry for some of the older guys who are genuinely looking for someone, I just couldn't bring myself to string them along. Sad

whatthewhatthewhat · 22/07/2019 18:59

@justtheonethen 🤣

merlotqueen · 22/07/2019 18:59

Me too @Adelais, I got 20/20 and have heard nothing since! I am in London.

@WheelyCote Yes, the amount is in dollars

merlotqueen · 22/07/2019 19:03

@ShinyButtons

I'm just going through the application process for cloudworkers, what is os exactly? Will it fry my brain and will my soul be damned?

BlackCatFan · 22/07/2019 19:03

@ShinyButtons I didn't like Cloudworkers either.. it made me feel grubby. I'm still getting emails from them asking me to log in and help get the queue down! Confused

I've been accepted for an Appen project but don't think I have the time for it at the moment, anyone know if I should contact them or just not do the task? I want to come back to it at a later date ideally..

I earned £4 for one hour of Crisp yesterday.. I'm speeding up!

Wolfff · 22/07/2019 19:32

whatthewhatthewhat
I think I got that message when I submitted my original application. Mine was quick but I can’t say if that is typical. I think the main prerequisite is having an active Facebook and Instagram.

BlockRockinBeats · 22/07/2019 19:54

@Otterses Please could you repost the link to the MoneyShed article about another free trade share. You posted it twice much earlier in the thread but it wasn't clickable. Tried to copy and paste it but I just got an 'oops' page. Also, have you got a free share from it? I really hope it is like Trade212, that was fab!

BlockRockinBeats · 22/07/2019 19:58

To the new crispers...I started on the live queues on 14 May and had my Klipfolio dashboard log in. It didn't start logging work for me until last week! So two months! However, during the two months, Crisp did record all the work I did and I have successfully been paid to Paypal for both May and June. I had to raise a query with them about four times until it was magically sorted. But I got there in the end.

In the meantime, I just made a note of the days and times I worked so I had my own record should they tell me I had done zero work. Thankfully, that didn't happen so please don't worry. Your work will be recorded.

whatthewhatthewhat · 22/07/2019 20:06

@BlockRockinBeats has your speed picked up? Do you mind saying how much per hour you're getting roughly? I'm new, and so sloooow :-(

Otterses · 22/07/2019 20:18

@BlockRockinBeats

www.themoneyshed.co.uk/index.php?threads/freetrade-free-share-worth-£3-80.11214/

Weirdly enough I was just about to sit down to this one! Not in the right frame of mind for crisp. Truly shitty day! Let me know how you get on.

ShinyButtons · 22/07/2019 20:23

@merlotqueen it shouldn't fry your brain it's surprisingly easy but my soul was damaged, if it was just guys being dicks I think I'd have been ok, but the ones that would tell you how they'd been married for 30 years and looked after their wife through cancer etc and were really trying to find someone to be with, i just couldn't do it.
I think because after my mum died, my dad did online dating and I'd hate to think of him thinking he was talking to a nice woman but really just being strung along. It broke my heart a little bit. It's made me want to set up a site for them just to chat to each other and not be lonely lol

@BlackCatFan they stopped sending me messages as soon as I missed my 2nd shift in a row. I feel unwanted now haha.

How much are new crispers averaging an hour? I'm going to time myself later and see how much I can do in an hour.

CatHopeful · 22/07/2019 20:29

Cloudworkers definitely isn't for me, so I totally get why some of you don't want to do it.

I think I'm averaging £4-5 per hour with Crisp at the moment. Tricky to say as I was just starting to get to grips with it and now it's the summer holidays so the kids are around ALL THE TIME which means I can't do any. They're in bed now, and I'm trying to do some but it's sooooo sllloooowwww tonight.

DontCallMeDarling · 22/07/2019 22:46

@seizethecuttlefish
You are not alone. I'm sitting here waiting to hear back from crisp, modsquad, crowdchat and have 12 projects in progress for Appen. I got 20/20 for crisp but not heard back and people on here who passed after me are working already, I don't know what that means for me! I was worried that I might hear from them on holiday but nope nothing which is good news I guess 😆. It's very frustrating. I also don't think I can do cloudworkers. I get little bits of money from prolific and clickworker but like you feel I'm putting a lot of effort in for very little return. I will just enjoy rest of my holiday and rethink my position in August. What else can I do? 🤪🤷

FirstTim3Mummy · 22/07/2019 23:02

I have no idea what you're all talking about is it some internet get rich quick schemes?
