6 months in and still going strong! It's the July earn £10 a day thread!

Let's try not to fill this one up too quickly Grin

I think everyone had an absolutely smashing month in June, with lots of luck thrown in at the end of it for good measure. I think we're all proving it's possible you can earn £10 a day from the comfort of your own sofa.

I'll pop together an updated list of earning methods later, I haven't had coffee yet Grin

All new joiners are welcome Smile

@CatHopeful @whatthewhatthewhat

Crisp for me last month was £550 doing about 1.5-2 hours a day while watching TV. So about £9.61 per hour. I generally did evenings last month, not particularly targeting when surges are active. You do pick up speed as you gain confidence

None of us, as far as I'm aware, have been issued Combat logins. A massive congratulations if anyone has been though!

sounds like you're all doing well!
Can I ask how long it took for you to get your crisp score? Wondering if I put my email in correctly

CatHopeful · 19/07/2019 13:08

otterses that amount per month would make a significant difference to us. Based on how it's gone so far, I am some way off that target, but I can see that I should very easily be able to hit £100 per month usually (though summer holidays mean that might not happen for a bit). I hope that I will pick up speed - if I could hit your hours/earnings, I'd be over the moon!!

reddA · 19/07/2019 13:17

I reckon you get around £15-£20 for each 500 you do, obviously more if there is a surge so maybe try and work on doing a certain amount each day, I find it does help to have a target sometimes. It's been quite quiet so that doesn't help though! Totals can increase slightly overnight too so bear that in mind.

@Otterses someone was invited for training for shifts up thread (congrats whoever it was - this thread moves too fast sometimes!) I don't think I'm ready yet and do enjoy the freedom of jumping in and out at the moment.

justtheonethen · 19/07/2019 13:57

@Otterses @reddA 🙋🏼‍♀️

Those thinking you will never earn money don't despair- you will get quicker, promise.

m00rfarm · 19/07/2019 14:03

My estimated value for July is £27 - I have not been doing much though, so today I am going to try to up it!

Buster27 · 19/07/2019 14:48

Yay, my Fletcher submission got approved (after spending so long on it I started to panic that it wouldn't pass quality control!). Particularly good as last night I started doing project 202 on Global, which is the same.

@Bellasblankexpression - I think it was pretty quick, few minutes at most.

Bellasblankexpression · 19/07/2019 14:52

Thanks buster I’m going to do it again I think there’s been a problem somewhere. Anyone know if you can take the test again using the same email etc?

Bemystarlord · 19/07/2019 15:17

@Buster27 might be worth checking you can do it in both as when i messaged to say i had already done 202 on appen they took it off me on global. Don't want you wasting your time :)

seizethecuttlefish · 19/07/2019 15:52

Appen Global question. I've logged in and it's showing 2 assigned projects on my availability but I can only see 1. Any ideas? I've raised a support ticket but I'm probably doing something daft.

Otterses · 19/07/2019 16:52

@seizethecuttlefish is one Noyo by any chance? That's a once every three months one.

@justtheonethen

 I'm taking your lack of mumsnet time means you've been eating all the content Grin

@reddA I agree to be honest, though I'm bloody chuffed for whoever was invited. I really don't think I've got the stamina to commit to an hour slot.

@CatHopeful honestly we all felt the same! You absolutely WILL get there.

@Bellasblankexpression you should get an email with your score straight away, though the score is in teeny tiny font it may be worth doing again to see if it was the right email?

@whatthewhatthewhat Have you watched the monitoring video? I'm wondering if that helps at all. I'm terrified of monitoring Blush

You all have my undivided attention next week (as does Crisp!) as DS and DH are away Grin I feel I've been missing out on this since I've gone back to work.

Hang on 😂 I've just twigged. @justtheonethen YOU GOT A COMBAT LOGIN?

Yeah, does anyone else use the keyboard! My arrows are in a funny place so it's not actually quicker for me... also, doesn't speed up the reading! 🤣

justtheonethen · 19/07/2019 17:56

@Otterses I did! Well I should have soon! I'm really pleased as it means guaranteed money, I can't do it often though as have dd.

@whatthewhatthewhat I find the keyboard much quicker. Suppose it depends as like you say if your arrows are in an odd place it won't help!

BlackCatFan · 19/07/2019 18:52

My Crisp dashboard has updated with what I did yesterday, I did 2.5 hours and earned £6 😂 but I was super slow. Seems like speed is the key! Well sounds like the rest of the newbies have dashboard access so at least now we can see exactly what we're earning!

whatthewhatthewhat · 19/07/2019 19:05

£6 for 2.5 hours is grim. Will stick with it and see if I speed up... 😭

BlackCatFan · 19/07/2019 19:09

@whatthewhatthewhat Hopefully we'll speed up - I might need a faster laptop. I don't think wandering off to make a cuppa helps either Brew

Bellasblankexpression · 19/07/2019 19:15

Does anyone have the link to the Crisp sign up? I’ve had a computer meltdown this afternoon in the middle of a deadline - of course - and lost all my cache and bookmarks! Going to do the test again as I definitely didn’t receive an email from them.

ShinyButtons · 19/07/2019 19:18

Has everyone that finds the monitoring harder watched the monitoring walk through video that was put on wiki last week sometime. It really helped make it clearer to me what I should be doing.

I'm still finding mod2 quite intimidating so I'm going to read through the training again this weekend and see if that helps.

justtheonethen · 19/07/2019 19:51

@Bellasblankexpression www.crispthinking.com

CatHopeful · 19/07/2019 20:14

I haven't been keeping track of the number of hours I've put in. In a way it doesn't matter to me so much, because if it's free time, then I may as well be earning something. That's the way I'm approaching at the moment anyway. Dashboard shows that for today I'm at £9.97 and that's for 297 items. I approximate I'm doing around £4 per hour. There's only so much I can actually speed up though I think. There's a lot I'm having to google when some things come up - slang terms, references to people etc. I'm not sure I can cut any of that out, without sacrificing accuracy.

reddA · 19/07/2019 20:25

@CatHopeful have you got Dictionary [[https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=slang]] open in a tab? It's really useful, you do get used to the topics that come up honestly! I do think there should be a sticky on Slack for daily issues, it would really help.

reddA · 19/07/2019 20:27

Try that link again Blush Urban Dictionary

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 19/07/2019 20:33

BlackCatFan, I'm a newbie and I haven't had my dashboard log in yet :( I will check my spam just in case.
