Let's try not to fill this one up too quickly Grin

I think everyone had an absolutely smashing month in June, with lots of luck thrown in at the end of it for good measure. I think we're all proving it's possible you can earn £10 a day from the comfort of your own sofa.

I'll pop together an updated list of earning methods later, I haven't had coffee yet Grin

All new joiners are welcome Smile

Just had an email to say the Fletcher STXM-EU has finished, didn't think that would last long since there were rarely any batches available. Hope something else good comes up soon, I have loads of applications in progress.

MrsWombat · 10/07/2019 12:37

They've fixed the Appen invoice issue!

whatthewhatthewhat · 10/07/2019 13:19

Do PayPal take a cut of the Appen ones?

whatthewhatthewhat · 10/07/2019 13:36

Anyone know how often Appen pay for these voice tasks?

MrsWombat · 10/07/2019 14:45

Paypal take 2%.

Scarfaceclaw21 · 10/07/2019 16:21

Hi, I have been lurking for ages. I have started matched betting in late jan and crisp in march... What other income streams are working well for you? And with appen is there a minimum number of hours? I am finding it challenging to fit things in with kids/ life!

BlackCatFan · 10/07/2019 17:08

If anyone is looking for a bit more work I have just applied at Crowd Chat

crowdchat.io/work-crowdchat-2/

(Not sure if that link works - you can google them)

It's web chat customer service, which is a bit more like what I was looking for originally but wasn't sure who offered that type of work. I can't find much info about them generally but they do seem like a legit company... I'll update if they get back to me.

anxiouswaiting · 10/07/2019 17:11

Anyone who has done matched betting could you give any advice in who is the best for a step by step guide? I want to try but feel like I will need my hand held all the way!

Scarfaceclaw21 · 10/07/2019 17:15

Team profit on Facebook - excellent for matched betting. They have a very user friendly website and a "newbie" Facebook group where they will answer questions etc

m00rfarm · 10/07/2019 17:57

Cloudworkers has accepted me - minimum 12 hours a week and maximum 40 hours per week. What sort of money can you earn doing this? Any real life experience on this one? Thanks :)

MrsWombat · 10/07/2019 18:28

@whatthewhatthewhat I'm not on a voice task, but Appen invoice for the entire month so you send your invoice in on the first of the month for the previous month. The main project I'm doing is on an app so I have to manually add the time I do to the current invoice each day. Yours may well appear automatically. It should be on a tab somewhere within the project.

whatthewhatthewhat · 10/07/2019 18:35

@m00rfarm if you scroll through the thread all those questions have been asked and answered'! Good luck - it ain't for everyone by all accounts!

whatthewhatthewhat · 10/07/2019 18:48

@MrsWombat thanks

CrazyTink · 10/07/2019 19:00

Did the crisp test again - scored one less than last timeBlush was doing it on my laptop which is quite laggy, will try again later
Creating my cv to apply to Appen
Prolific has been quite for about a week but had a busy spell this afternoon
I really want to get into making some extra cash, I know none of it is reliable but anything extra would be good to give us some breathing space

reddA · 10/07/2019 19:10

@BlackCatFan that one looks good, my typing speed is crap though Blush

Wolfff · 10/07/2019 19:13

Made a bit from Prolific last week and £6 so far this week. Got £50 compensation from my bank today after complaining that a call centre worker was rude to me! They had a tape of the call.

Got accepted for Fletcher this morning on Appen but they haven’t approved the final bit of my application yet - so frustrating. Are they in a different time zone?

Otterses · 10/07/2019 19:26

@Wolfff

America I'm afraid Grin

DontCallMeDarling · 10/07/2019 19:43

@BlackCatFan I also applied and lets see what happens. They never give details of what pay is like lol. I decided not to give them my facebook link although they could always look me up!

BergamotMouse · 10/07/2019 21:02

Hi all, new to this but on the last few months of maternity leave so keen to make some extra money.

On that note I've just signed up to Roamler but it's asking for an activation code. Does anyone know how I can get one or have one I can use?

Thanks.

mydogisthebest · 10/07/2019 22:21

I am not impressed with Appen at all. 3 weeks on and still the rating tool won't load.

They have just sent me an email saying to use my phone. I hate trying to type anything on my phone as I just make lots of mistakes and am slow so not sure I am going to bother.

Just annoying as I wanted to do the Nile work but not on my phone.

DB761 · 10/07/2019 23:14

Hi I everyone. For those experienced with Appen. Im just doing the project 509. With regards to payments I've noticed some threads about timesheets. I can't see anything I need to do yet or anything logging what I've done. Do I need to do anything to get payment for this task or will it all happen automatically?
Sorry for all the questions .... still a newbie :-)

Tohaveandtohold · 11/07/2019 00:36

Hi all, sorry to bother you all but what day of the month does Appen pay?

Otterses · 11/07/2019 06:13

@mydogisthebest

I'm afraid it is a requirement to do Nile on your phone I'm not sure how clear they make that when you initially apply.

It's easier to use the dictation feature and just 'speak' what you think of the ad, or after a few times iPhones automatically predicts phrases you use, so that saves time.

@DB761 509 is on Appen global I think? In which case I think it should just be automatic payment.

@Tohaveandtohold it depends on what country you're in, and if you're talking about Appen Global/Connect. Connect is around the 15th, global operates on a two week payment schedule.
