Car insurance putting me at fault when valet company accepted liability!

Parked the car at an airport for the valet service (they park the car for you). They crash my car. While dealing with it we notified our insurers that the car has had an accident we where not at fault and that the valet company have accepted fault and will be paying for everything. Eventually we sort everything out- car was total loss, so we get another car and pay the extra money with the insurance company and everything is fine.

Come renewal we fine the insurance company have put just my husband at fault and have said that it was to the value of just over £2500??? So angry and panicking as we settled with the valet company we can't now go after them but my insurer was aware of the situation. I can't cal them until just after 9 but have no idea how to handle this.

Has anyone been through anything similar or has advice?

To be clear:
The valet company paid you? Your insurance company didn't?
Straightforward. The took details of the claim and have not closed it.
You need to call them. Explain you have had the money. Offer to email the settlement letter. Ask them to update the CUE database and make sure it's shown as closed non fault.

Thank you for replying.

We did call them when we received the money from the valet company so they should of closed it down. But concerned that they are showing they paid £2500 for something but will have to wait until I can speak to them later this morning
