I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

Morning all!

Just tried crisp test again GODDAMN 18 AGAIN!! Arrrrrrrgh. How do you even pass this thing?! I might just select all the answers Confused

I've really slowed down with making any sort of money the past few days, need to get back on it really...

I did a survey this morning that took about 20 minutes of soul destroying boring questions for a grand total of 38p Hmm

I've signed up for a few mystery shopper bits too but they will require leaving the house and I have just put the baby down for nap time so that's a no go for now.

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 11:57

I have also been accepted to work for Appen (yippee). I applied and was accepted for a voice recording task, however I need a PIN - still not received. I e-mailed them but had nothing back. Is this normal?

Otterses · 10/06/2019 12:02

@TheLolaMontez the pin should be in the task instructions Smile it's not obvious. Have a quick skim and see if it's there!

I'll try again! Thanks Otterseas Grin

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 12:07

When I press on the guidelines tab I'm getting a system error message, argh! I hope I've not missed out on it Sad

Otterses · 10/06/2019 12:10

I'm sure it's fine! They really struggle to get people for voice collection, I doubt you've missed out Smile

Otterses · 10/06/2019 12:11

@TheLolaMontez which speech collection is it? Is there a reference name/number?

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 12:11

Cannot find the pin - would it be in an e-mail anywhere, I don't know if I'm being really thick here...

It says:

"Appen Connect email, Project Number, and your PIN

To start a session on AMR you will need to enter the following:

  • Your Appen Connect Email
  • Project Number: 202
  • PIN: Your unique PIN will be emailed to you."

Any ideas?

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 12:11

Ooops sorry @Otterseas - see above

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 12:12

It's Fletcher, apparently.

Otterses · 10/06/2019 12:14

Ohhhh Cross post.

I remember really struggling to see the pin when I attempted 202. You've contacted support? If so I think you may be better off waiting for them to get back to you.

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 12:17

Yeah I e-mailed yesterday so hopefully they won't take too long getting back to me, I'm feeling a bit flappy about needing to be earning more money! I feel as though I've stalled somewhat.

Any tips on getting a higher score on Crisp?

Blessthekids · 10/06/2019 12:44

I'm still playing the waiting game.......

I'm waiting for my paperwork to be reviewed by Appen, to hear about my application to isoftstone and also for Crowdsurf to review my test result which I have passed! And of course waiting for Crisp.

@TheLolaMontez Tips - Make a note of your answers. keep everything the same next time apart from one question you are pretty sure is one of the wrong ones. Make the change and submit.

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 13:00

I presume they all require an answer? The one that is a social media post and the poster is talking about the Aston Martin confuses me somewhat, it's not especially offensive, not really slating a product per se, I don't find it very "risky". Maybe I'm not cut out for looking at willies and hairy fannies Shock

justtheonethen · 10/06/2019 13:01

@TheLolaMontez sure there is no profanity on there?

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 13:03

Hmmm... There's an FML, maybe that's where I'm going wrong! Be right back...

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 13:15

18 😩😩😩😩😩😩

justtheonethen · 10/06/2019 13:17

😫

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 13:27

Just tried again... 18

[profanity coming]

FOR FUCKS SAAAAAAAKE

Blessthekids · 10/06/2019 13:33

Did you just change that one? Or another one as well?

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 13:36

A couple - I wrote all of them down and changed a few that I wasn't certain on

Blessthekids · 10/06/2019 13:47

Perhaps do only one question as that will tell you whether that one is the problem or not. I also thought it was the AM one that was tricky but actually it wasn't! And if they cover more that one risk tick the other ones too! That was my mistake.

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 13:53

I DID IIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT Grin

and now I wait....

TheLolaMontez · 10/06/2019 13:54

(Thanks for tips by the way) Smile
