I think I might have been blocked from Castles FB!!! 😂😂 Either that or she's deactivated.

Jigsawpuzzle · 07/06/2019 08:32

PHD- Is she on a plane? Nothing mentioned.
Homeschool that video has she lost the plot or is that a new way of kids education?

Spongebobette · 07/06/2019 08:43

Castle’s advice is always be honest

A bit like when she pretended she’d bought the ‘castle’ she lived in? Or recommended in a video that bots didn’t mention the company, just posted about their lifestyle (attraction marketing)???

BSintolerant · 07/06/2019 08:53

Castle is still there. She’s posted a video with a health warning:

This was NOT supposed to be on this page 😂 Only watch if you're following me for business Otherwise you'll be bored as hell!

Has she fallen out of the honesty tree and hit every branch on the way down?! I’m sure Forever Living has got a cure for telling the truth.

One of the things she says is “Always be Honest.” 😂😂 Honesty runs in her family. Remember when her brother said Forever Living enabled Castle to buy a castle and we discovered she was only renting it ...

Homeschool’s live is so bizarre. She must have got her awful husband to write those words on her face. He really is a vile person.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 07/06/2019 09:18

Homeschool comes across as increasingly unhinged with each post. Desperation creeping in.

JasperRising · 07/06/2019 09:20

PhDs use of statistics is the same way of thinking that keeps people gambling. 'yes the odds may be against me but people do sometimes win so I should keep going because it must be possible for it to be me'. Except that is not how probability works. Yes, there might be that one person who achieved the 1 in 100 odds but you are still more likely to be one of the 99 who didn't achieve it...

Twentytwentyhindsight · 07/06/2019 09:25

And using a four year old cheque with the date hidden as a backdrop is now more pathetic than deceitful.

Jigsawpuzzle · 07/06/2019 09:49

Just trying to imagine my DD with the periodic table plastered on her face.
I do note that a lot of bots do woe is me a lot. Most of us haven’t had a perfect life but we don’t carry it about like a ball and chain. Try living with the fact that without WW11 I wouldn’t exist.

fromdownwest · 07/06/2019 10:16

"Did anyone tell you that it was unrealistic to expect to go to Uni and get a degree?"

Yes, for many many people it is unrealistic due to lack of financial support being available from the families, yes there are loans etc but for many Uni is not an expectation. Once again the naivety of what is 'normal' from a very heightened place of privilege.

Oh and posting a picture in Business class is just crass, I have been lucky enough to travel to Asia many times business class, however, I never post pictures on my social media as I know many friends that would love to do so, but can't. I'd be a terrible MLM'er.

fromdownwest · 07/06/2019 10:18

That live with the marker on the face is actually quite disturbing, something is not right there. Using those traumatic life events to sell Aloe Vera, just very very bizarre.

Jigsawpuzzle · 07/06/2019 10:31

Neither me nor DH went to uni. We supported DD when she went and also DS when he went to college to get his engineering qualifications.
We realised the world of work was going to change but we didn’t realise how fast.
We may laugh at some of the bots but I am concerned about the children and their future.

MrsDilligaf · 07/06/2019 11:07

Sooo...Apparently FLP is OFFICIALLY the best company to work with in the Home business/network marketing industry.

Nurse is so proud Sad

To Nurse (If you're reading, and I hope you are) ... please don't let this sham business fool you any longer.

Spongebobette · 07/06/2019 14:51

I find Homeschool bot's confessional video rather disturbing.
She's using very dodgy methods to hook in new recruits.

And as for saying she had an eating disorder and just did a C9....

fromdownwest · 07/06/2019 15:39

I agree @spongebobette - It was actually quite hard viewing, not hard in the way watching PHD ramble hard, but actually a bit disturbing.

Seeing someone do that to themselves, and talk so freely about all of her insecurities and issues, just to get people to sign up to sell gloop is past desperate and actually quite sad. How many other JOB's would drive you to draw on your face and relive past traumas for the world to see.

This truly shows the cult like dangers of MLM's as she was probably coached to show here vulnerabilities.

BSintolerant · 07/06/2019 15:41

Trying to get people to empathise with you by telling sob stories and pretending to be vulnerable is a classic con trick. It’s easier to get people to part with their money if you make them feel sorry for you.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 07/06/2019 15:55

Yes, most bots do the confessional/redemptive 'baring all' lives at some point or another (usually when they're getting desperate and don't have any recent successes to trumpet instead).

My immediate instinct with anyone recounting tales of abuse or mental health issues is to believe them, since there seems to be no benefit to them in telling them. In the case of bots, they have previously unfortunately shown themselves to be highly manipulative and liberal in their interpretation of the truth, so my belief and sympathy are less forthcoming.

spanfan · 07/06/2019 19:32

Is PhD admitting she's in the lucky 1%??

SSDGM · 07/06/2019 20:29

So the mother of Broke’s Kids has taken him back. Again. In the two years since I’ve been following the anti MLM movement he’s left her twice to move in with other women. And all that time he’s not held down a single job to support his family. The man is pure filth. The very epitome of entitled.

Jigsawpuzzle · 07/06/2019 20:55

Is Uber and Welshbot smoking brokes offerings, as the quotes are just weird. Real people don’t talk like that.

Rockybooboo · 08/06/2019 09:59

Hi I've not been involved in these threads before but this is somewhere i feel I can express concerns.

There is a mum who sells Forever Living who's child attends the same class as mine. Her Facebook page gives her job details as a Global Mentor making people healthier and wealthier. Her actual job is a police officer.

She is really forceful in her sales techniques. If she gets any hints that you or one of your family members has any sort of ailment, she's emails showing faux concern and then tries to flog Aloe Vera. If she finds out you've got friends coming over, she will come into school with a basket full of aloe products and hand them to you to give out to friends. I'm quite good at saying no but most people don't want to make a fuss. She's recently advertised a product saying that it keeps a skin product saying that it's why her skin is so young looking. Her skin is very young and taut looking but she's admitted to a couple of mums that her dad who's a dentist does her botox.

I think my main problem is that I feel she's dishonest and that's not great anyway but the fact thats she's a police officer makes it worse. She ran the marathon this year and had to raise money for charity. She held a raffle and had fantastic prizes but she held the draw on Facebook with herself pulling out the tickets and only close friends and family won. Someone must complained anonymously as she performed a witch hunt on Facebook to try and find out whow it was.
She's always talks in that manner that a born again Christian might talk but she evangelical about theGod of Forever Living. It's like a religion with morals attached.

Spongebobette · 08/06/2019 11:19

I’ve seen this many times, sadly, it’s as though any sense of morals and ethics is surgically removed when you join Forever Living
The bots seem to think that ‘marketing’ means lying

Spongebobette · 08/06/2019 11:25

@Jigsawpuzzle those two have nothing helpful or of value to post, but need to post frequently to keep up engagement with their FB. So they resort to exploiting their small children by posting pics and stories about them, interspersed with trite generic homilies that they’ve found on a website somewhere.
They have absolutely nothing to offer anyone in terms of real business coaching

Sforsh49 · 08/06/2019 12:04

@Rockybooboo you could contact the Professional Standards department at her force. She will have had to put a "business interest" in and be approved to have a second form of income as a police officer. She will have had restrictions placed on her as part of that around how she operates. Regardless, if you have concerns about her honesty and integrity this reflects on the force and rightly you should mention it to them. "Raffles" on Facebook constitute a lottery and are therefore illegal without a licence. Her force will want to know. You can ask your details not be disclosed or even refuse to give them. They will look into any claims she makes on Facebook and put a stop to any spurious or outright lies, and you'll find her aggressive FL selling methods tone down..... she won't be able to afford to leave her job so likely will do as she's told

Jigsawpuzzle · 08/06/2019 12:36

I see Yawns BFF is off to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, I hope none of my relatives fall for it. A distant relative has dabbled in the past but she is now a hairdresser/tanning hun/reiki master (you tube video) in an ex mining village.she was trying to push all that when they were knee deep in snow.I note many of the MLM huns also go down this route along with the nails/browz.
