UC What ID and things will they need.

Need to apply for UC.
We currently receive a small amount in TC. Tried applying for housing benefit and they said we can't apply and has to be done via UC. did the online calculator and the difference is 300 a month. That's why we've struggled.
We need to get and apply. Does TC stop as soon as apply.
If so do I wait the 10 days till next TC goes in then apply otherwise we're stuffed.
Dp gets paid last day of each month. So I know someone said apply around 3rd so there's no 2x pays in a month. And he receives exact amount every month.

Yes TC will stop as soon as you apply for UC. You will need to take tenancy agreement ( if private renting), passports, utility bill, childrens birth certs ( maybe). Sometimes you can do the ID verification online but it's not always successful.

Brilliant thank you. We have all that to hand so fingers crossed we can do online. Think I'll wait till TC payment has gone in then do the following Monday
