AirBnB

Hi we have recently had our AirBnB account hacked somehow and have has nearly £1k taken from our debit card through a fraudulent booking. The bank can't ( or won't ) help and say it is AirBnB's responsibility to refund. I have spoken with AirBnB but they are spectacularly unhelpful. Has anyone else had a similar experience and if so can they offer any advice?
Thanks Matt.

Cancel the booking ?

Has the booking date already been? Have they already taken the holiday? Surely you should be informing the police and if they've already stayed somewhere then shouldn't that host be able to tell the police what they looked like? If they've not already stayed somewhere, can't you cancel?
