Stay at home dad?

Hi,
I'm trying to work out what finances would be if dad stayed at home too look after little boy. Can anyone advise if we would be entitled to any benefits other than child benefit ta

Depends how much you earn and how many hours you work, age of DS, how many DCs, whether you rent or own, any disabilities in the family.

If you earn more than about £25k, you'll be entitled to little or nothing other than CB, but if you work 20-30 hours a week at NMW (I think there are thresholds, don't know what they are) you will probably be entitled to something. There are various online calculators but apparently they vary in the results they give, don't know which is the most accurate.
