Hi my partner and I are looking to move in together. Obviously I need to inform them. But I was wondering what the cut off point was. I am on a low income and after rent and so on I survive on them. His is an ok income.

When he moves in you will no longer be able to claim tax credits any more. You will have to make a claim for Universal credit. Whether you get any uc will depend on wages , rent etc.

Agree will be a new claim under universal credit.
