I joined a natural cancer cure group which was mentioned on another group I'm a member of.
The purpose of the group is healing cancer with anything but western medicine. CBD is mentioned a lot, as is cannabis where it is legal. Also essential oils, raw food diets, vitamins, and drinking your own urine.
This group had been going for many years. I went back about 3 years and found someone who was diagnosed with breast cancer and wanted to go the natural route. The tumour grew through her skin and ulcerated, she is now terminal and in agony with her breast and is still trying to heal it naturally. Although she has been admitted to hospice to get her pain under control. She has spent tens of thousands on natural treatments from non doctors.
The crap that Broke says, and others making medical claims about anything is dangerous. We would never take his claims seriously but a lot of people do. Nobody wants to go through chemo, radiation, and having a breast removed in the case of breast cancer. It's the only treatment that can work though and while unpleasant it saves lives. Even at stage 4 chemo and medication can extend lives significantly in some cases.
It doesn't always work but it's all we have available. The group I joined is an echo chamber, nobody would dare suggest western treatments. It's people like Broke making medical claims and backing it up with unproven websites which they say is research. Encouraging people to drink their own urine as a cure for cancer and claiming it works is astonishing. People are vulnerable when just diagnosed and scared.
In some cases where people claim their cancer was cured by natural methods the cancer was self diagnosed.
Broke's claims are so dangerous and the are so many like him. I had to leave that group as it was so upsetting.
