treacle, thank heavens you escaped this cult and thanks for sharing your experience. Please don't feel ashamed for getting involved. People here understand how it can happen, it has happened to some of us, others have witnessed friends and family getting involved in MLM. It always ends badly.

there is an FL bot who started to communicate with the spirits and angles, she has stopped scamming people into her MLM and started preying on vulnerable, grieving people instead. It is hard to watch this exploitation .

Golden - I watched most of it. They didn't show any FL did they? It appears all the MLMs operate in a similar way. Younique seems particularly ruthless though.

Here's a link to Dr Alexandra Stein's website - she's an expert on cults who Ellie interviewed in the MLM documentary. As she said, anyone can end up in a cult - she got sucked into one when she was younger. She also agreed that MLMs are cults - many of their tactics are the same.

@GoldenKelpie, I think you're talking about the same bot as I am. If you are, she does still flog Aloe. But yes, her main thing nowadays is convincing people she communicates with Angles and spirits.

@Treacle200 - please, please, there is nothing to be embarrassed about. It is easy to get sucked in, especially at your most vulnerable.

What happened happened. Rather than feel ashamed about it and sweep it under the carpet, celebrate the fact that you saw through it and got out; it could have been even worse.

I don't mean that you should go shouting round the rooftops that you are an MLM survivor, or that you should even tell your lovely new boyfriend.

Just enjoy that you've moved on, and see that as a victory, rather than dwelling on the lost time, money and whatever else.

Also why do some mums like nurse bot have to ram it down our throats about how they are doing everything for their kids, surely that’s a given!

For what it's worth I was very tempted to join FL after first watching Castle's video in 2015. I'm quite suggestible admittedly but I'm a graduate and reasonably with it. It can happen to anyone. You were preyed on by your upline which is what she was trained to do. I can understand how you might feel embarrassed but really there's no need. These schemes are extremely clever at hooking people in and making it difficult to leave. Everyone will be friendly and supportive here.

So Yawn isn't mentioning cheques because she's not getting one, I assume...? Didn't she buy a new t shirt for the global rally or is she just going yo wear it in her shed watching it on YouTube?

Yawn is "having a (chequeless) grown up weekend with Mr Yawn in Stockholm", while the kids are left to fend for themselves and the menagerie of pets over their exam period.

You do not leave your child alone during the exam period. I have one doing their exams soon and I've planned my life around it and also to be an integral part of the process.

Not leaving my child alone during such an important and stressful time. They need the support.

Forever living gives you more time for your family though.
