Hi I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place.
I'm a bank nurse in a hospital and a nursing home. I always do over 30 hours a week but obviously I'm on a bank contract at both. We have just decided to start trying for a baby. Would I still be entitled to SMP or maternity allowance as I'm still employed. TIA

If your earn at least £118 a week (gross) in an 8-week ‘relevant period and meet the other eligibility criteria then you would be eligible for SMP in each employment in which you meet the eligibility criteria.

The best part of GovUk to read is the SMP Employer Guide.
This page is the bit about eligibility: www.gov.uk/employers-maternity-pay-leave/eligibility-and-proof-of-pregnancy

If you need to know when Qualifying Week (15th week before week of childbirth) occurs, then use this date calculator: www.sdworx.co.uk/resources/smp-dates-calculator
