Transferring zero percent cards

Home77 · 30/03/2019 12:24

I have a couple of credit cards on zero percent offers for the next year or so. I'd like to pay them off, but it will be hard until we pay off the mortgage end of next year (Sep 2020).

Is it Ok to keep transferring o% cards when the offer runs out, any reasons to not do this, to have some breathing space as will be easier then? I wasn't sure. It seems relatively simple.

Ok...just been online and to looks like they have already set up for a small fee to extend the promotion further so it should be Ok if not paid off in full.

Shifting from 0% to 0% is fine it's known as tarting.

Might affect your credit score a tiny bit but not much

It doesn't seem to have impacted mine - maybe a tiny bit. I always overpay though- so the thing of setting a direct debit above the minimum.
