Moving Homes

I hope all is well.

Its been years since i posted on here, everything looks so different :-)

In need of some advice.......after 28 years of living in central London, i have now decided its time to move out as things are just getting hectic.
looking through right move i have come across a beautiful 4 bed detached in Northampton, Wellingbrough (360k) for a price which is cheaper than a studio flat down here in london :-)

now, is it just me or is the price really low because of the area/ crime rates?
Seems like a decent area with nice big houses (NN8 postcode)

i will very much appreciate if someone that is living or has any knowledge of the Northampton, wellinbrough are can advise me further.....

I'd suggest you repost onto the property board with the postcode in the thread title

but that far outside the M25, property is MUCH MUCH cheaper than London

It’s cheap because it’s outside of London . We live in a large 4 bed detached with double garage, additional drive for 4 cars and large garden (front and back), which cost less than the house in Northampton you’re looking at. It’s a lovely village in the midlands, very low crime rate, good schools...
That money would buy you a lovely house in a nice area in many parts of the UK.
