Hi All

about 2 years ago I got myself into a lot of debt (16k) after a relationship breakdown, losing my job and ignoring it! (bad I know) I moved in with family, found a local job that paid well, made the phone calls and set up payment plans which I have stuck to and I am pleased to say I am almost there

I regularly review my debts by requesting statements by email, to see if interest has been added, if I can pay more etc but this one company just wont send me a statement, saying they only do it annually, they did send me one in October but the annual review for them is February (they say they sent me one on the 4th but I haven't received it) until this point, all companies including this one have sent statements whenever I have requested them

Please can anyone let me know where I go from here because aside from pleading/getting frustrated I just don't understand why they wont send it!

That sounds so annoying!! Ask them for a settlement figure if you wanted to pay it off? Doubt very much if they would refuse to send that!

Well done for tackling the debts OP, sounds like you are doing all the right things there.

As for the statement - you know you are paying it off steadily so that's good, you don't really need the written proof of a statement. If it has an annual review, they may prepare a lot of statements on that date and it can take a while to post them out.
