Santander mortgage application time

Just wondered how long I should think about waiting. Application submitted by broker and they received it (text) yesterday.
Do they take days or weeks now?

Also, after AIP has anyone been declined?

We had a mortgage with Santander last year took around a week from broker submitting to the offer coming through, I think around day 2 they asked for some addition information which we had to provide which may if held it up, my husband is self employed so it was just more info about that they needed.. it was possibly the longest week of my life!

We had AIP (not with Santander) which was declined but we went on to get a mortgage with another company which cost us more but we were desperate.

We are currently waiting for a mortgage offer which fills me with worry which is why I'm still up at 2am!!

Totally forgot to chase the application today due to other issues in the chain 😭

Was just going to say the the current turn around time for Underwriting is 24hrs at the moment for Santander but I see you have already received your offer!

itsonly last year was exceptionally busy (got the overtime to prove it!) but usually turn around time as long as nothing else is requested is around 48hrs.

Can you guess were i work?
