The continuing crusade to expose the underhand tactics used to lure (mainly) women into exploitative schemes using the lure of 'financial independence'.

Bloody hell, Yawn can't even visit her Gran's grave without taking a selfie..is nothing sacred?

Norma27 · 19/02/2019 23:30

She is vile. Somehow I manage to take mum up to my stepdad’s grave every week without taking horrific selfies. Also didn’t do it at his funeral. She really is something else.

BSintolerant · 20/02/2019 00:10

How long will it take for bots to adapt the macabre trend of Victorian post-mortem photography for the selfie generation?

Imagine ... Instagram would be flooded with selfies of bots with their dead relatives, or those who died of terminal boredom listening to eulogies about amaaaayyyyyyzzzzziiiiiiiiing business opportunities. White hearses might be all the rage. Aloe instead of embalming fluid, yellow plastic coffins ...

That said, I fear that we'll reach a point where nobody with any sense (common or otherwise) would be seen dead with a bot.

There seems to be a trend with mlm recruitment to target professions such as nursing, teaching, law enforcement etc etc. I find that very troubling.
Most people who seek such employment do so because it’s a vocation to help others, rather than just for the money. Very prominent FBO are ex police and they just seem to slag their past leave in the force off. Poor pay, hours .... etc. Surely when you join the police you realise it’s not an easy job! I have a few friends who have wanted to join the police a) to contribute to society and b) to have a job for life with a pension at the end of it.
I find it really dangerous that MLMs undermine vocations .. let’s put it into context. So they recruit all nurses, teachers and bobbies on the beat...
Who will then - look after them in hospital?
Teach their kids?
Stop bad people killing us all?
It’s a ridiculous concept.

Mlm is not real life. Who in their right mind takes selfies whilst :
At Meetings
At Conferences ( whilst wailing like a banshee)
At home ‘training’ in pjs & a glass of wine
On a conference call
Writing in their diary?

Madness... madness...

Norma27 · 20/02/2019 07:13

And you don’t become ‘award winning’ by walking across stage holding a phallic balloon!

notsurewhatshappening · 20/02/2019 07:20

Mlm exposed FB group is fab. Thanks for recommending! Interesting that broke bot is commenting and liking on there.

YouokHun · 20/02/2019 07:57

Yes I noticed Broke on the Lies FB Page and I think he’s a new addition. He’ll probably start trying to push his special MLM weed juice and get banned.

user1479228519 · 20/02/2019 08:09

Norma27.... depends what profession you’re in... lol Grin

Twentytwentyhindsight · 20/02/2019 08:55

Yawn is still basking in the afterglow of reaching the 'dizzy heights' of walking across a stage clutching an inflatable dick.

She can help you get one too, apparently.

I particularly enjoy Friday's on the MLM Lies exposed page where the moderator approves posts that are from people who clearly don't have a clue what the group is about and let the members rip them a new one in the comments. Grin

Paddy1234 · 20/02/2019 09:57

At least Yawn will be joined by her bff in getting no cheque this year - it was horrible last year for her to be so alone

Welsh Rarebit going on another C9 - well to be fair her garage must be stocked up with product

Whiterangey · 20/02/2019 13:59

To improve her bizniz Castle is getting some advice from some network marketing guru in the US. She is flying out there to meet with him.

Why doesn't she just do what she was doing in 2015/16 when her business was booming and money was rolling in? It worked then so obviously it should still work now. Nothing else has changed, it's not like they have exhausted the supply of people wanting to join or anything like that.

JasperRising · 20/02/2019 15:08

Have just read one blog post from that guru's website. Even by network marketing standards it is grammatically 'interesting'.

Whiterangey · 20/02/2019 15:36

The post he made about not needing your friends or family to agree with your goals to pursue them is horrifying. Some of the replies are heartbreaking, people have cut off friends and family as they are not behind them 100% with regards to their mlm dream.

People pay him for him to tell them that.

9dartfinish2nd · 20/02/2019 16:10

Wonder how many broken marriages, friendships and family estrangements have been caused by these Network Marketing Guru's / Life Coaches?

They latch onto an industry with a fundementally flawed business model and tell people it's all about having the right mindset and surrounding yourself with like minded positive people and it will all just fall into place.

These people make me want to vomit.

Spongebobette · 20/02/2019 16:15

Oh how awful, all those people saying they've split with their sister/ husband family!!!!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 20/02/2019 16:25

I have no doubt there are kickbacks between them an the MLM 'Leaders'.

One other expense my OH never factored into her 'biznis' accounts was the shedloads if eye-wateringly expensive self-help and mindset books and DVDs she bought on the fringes of FLP events (why she couldn't copy/borrow them from her upline, She could never explain fully). She was also pointed towards a string of online gurus (not sure about the details of each 'session', but looking into it, I'm guessing around £60 a pop, one a month).

It's a perfect fit. The business model means the bot can't succeed. The bot is told it's a mindset thing, and the upline knows just the person. The bot then pays the guru to be told it's all down to her that she's not succeeding and just needs to keep on trying and shutting out the (internal and external) voices telling her to quit. Guru gets money for old rope, upline gets brainwashed bot who will carry on throwing good money after bad. Win-win for the parasites.

Yes, Uber worked very closely with one of these mindset charlatans a while back, he was providing ‘personalised mindset blueprints’ to her downline. For a fee, presumably.

Norma27 · 20/02/2019 16:41

I don’t think Uber has mentioned o’conman for a while has she. Wonder if they still work together or have fallen out.

user1479228519 · 20/02/2019 16:50

WHY . DO. YOU . HAVE. TO. PUT. EVERYTHING. YOU. DO . ON. FACEBOOK. WITH. A. SELFIE?

Gym, diary with highlighted bits?? Why? MLMs are exhausting!!!

Paddy1234 · 20/02/2019 16:56

She saw O'Dodgy a while back

There's a new annoying kid on the block at the moment. Hugely annoying. I loathe mindset coaches in anything bar sports fields

JasperRising · 20/02/2019 17:30

Those of you who recognise the PhD bot nickname, have you seen how much she is charging for her coaching programme Shock and i still can't tell from the description guff whether it is going to be in anyway applicable to traditional business models or if it is basically MLM recruiting and coaching...

acatcalledjohn · 20/02/2019 19:32

The one moving away from Messiah, is she live now on FB?

acatcalledjohn · 20/02/2019 20:55

Yup. She is. She's seen the light.

Well, no. She hasn't quite seen the light because she'll move on to the next scam.

She just didn't have the passion for this Messiah.

Yet she was one of his main disciples.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 20/02/2019 20:59

Broke is upset that he has been called out for joining an osteoporosis support group to peddle his snake oil.
