in the mean time.....
What about housing, what is available and what about deposits...no money.

What about housing associations, any good?

What about benefits till getting a job?

Where to start?

CAB will give you most of the advice you need. Also get down the JobCentre to apply for jobseekers allowance. Ask about claiming tax credits also when you start work.

Housing waiting lists depend on where you are - London, for instance, is horrendous and you could be waiting for absolutely years. Most housing associations need a referral from the Council before they will house you these days. Best to avoid getting into that bind. You might be able to rent somewhere privately and claim housing benefit towards the rent.

Again, the best advice is to talk this all over with the CAB.

And good luck!
