Does anyone know. If you have DLA and have been re assessed to PIP which has then been denied and you are losing alot of money with them taking it away. Do other beneifts go up ?? Unable to work due to very ill health but according to GOV not that ill !!!

No other benefits don't go up to compensate because DLA/ PIP are non means tested benefits. PIP is a different benefit to DLA and the criteria are different. All you can do if you think the decision is incorrect is to ask for a mandatory reconsideration and take it to appeal if necessary. DLA and PIP are not about fitness to work - have you also been assessed for fitness for work for ESA or Universal credit??

No, they often go down because premiums are added to other benefits too if you are in receipt of DLA and PIP. x
