Waiting to hear from Natwest. They have until 23 July to respond.

TequilaMockinBird · 28/06/2007 11:44

Oh well done!

I too am waiting to hear from Natwest, sent them a list detailing all charges and giving them 14 days to respond - which they did by letter saying they were assessing my claim and would write to me within 6-7 weeks

Keeping everything crossed though!

Lolly68 · 28/06/2007 12:10

TM - I received exactly the same letter!

TequilaMockinBird · 28/06/2007 12:18

Lolly, LOL!

I'm hoping we won't have to wait that long as judging by some of the threads on this subject, people have had responses a lot quicker!

jofeb04 · 28/06/2007 12:54

Mine took just over 8weeks, so hang in

nosy question jofeb04 but did you issue court proceedings or did they cough just after your letter?

just over 2000 Cod

They just give it to me, plus they still havent't taken away the 60 pounds that they give in error!

No need to even threaten them with court tbh. Their letter was pritty fun to read though

How did you incur £2000 in bank charges???

TequilaMockinBird · 30/06/2007 19:31

My charges total £2600!! Unfortunatley, due to me and XP splitting up, my change of job etc... i incurred a lot a couple of years ago - hopefully i'm about to get them all back though!

jofeb04 · 30/06/2007 20:20

Hi i am trying to claim back my bank charges and have been knocked back after every letter. The next stage is taking them to court!!! Any advice please, it seems a bit scary!!

Chipstick · 01/07/2007 20:04

The banks are averaging 85% refund of any claimed amount.

HSBC are paying money out like theres no tomorrow.

Lolly68 · 05/07/2007 11:24

Tequila - hang in there with Natwest. I have just phoned them to check on my claim and an offer letter has gone out to me offering the full amount back £7.5K!!! The letter can take up to 2 weeks to get to me though but I'm well pleased.
