Maternity allowance

I'm about to begin the joyous task of filling in my maternity allowance form.
Does anyone know, when it's been sent off will it trigger a change to universal credit? We have child tax credits at the moment, I'm a little anxious about it

I can't see any reason why it would unless you are making a new claim for any of the six benefits that Uc replaces?

No, I have read that a change of circumstances will trigger a change and I wasn't sure if this came under that umbrella. I did google it but after reading some irrelevant things I thought best to just ask people that might know! Thank you
