Need to do a contract for shared home ownership - without it costing too much

My nanny's mother half owns a house with a relative, but so far everything they've done has been on a verbal agreement and they've decided they should have something written down legally.

Does anyone know the lowest cost way they could do this? Have a recommended person they can speak to. They are N London based

Thanks

The cost would depend on whether or not there is a mortgage on the house and where the title deeds are.

If there is no mortgage on the house it is a fairly straightforward job. If there is a mortgage then they will need the lender's consent to go on the deeds and will have to become a party to the mortgage.

I am a solicitor working from home so let me know if you need any more info.
